This situation is less likely to stem from issues with the power steering pump or the compressor clutch, as these components would more generally affect steering or cooling performance but not specifically result in stalling under these conditions. A vacuum actuator, additionally, would relate more to systems involving blend doors and engine performance under different load conditions but is not responsible for the direct relationship between steering load and engine stalling.
